If the Music Has Legs: “Exchanged Tokens of Youth”
如果聲音長出腿:〈青年信物交換〉的隨想
April 7th, 2016Type: Sound Scene
Author: 羅悅全 Editor: Rikey Tenn
Quote From: 《牯嶺街小劇場文化報》no.46
Note: This is a review by sound researcher Jeph Lo of "Exchanged Tokens of Youth", performed by Yung-Hung Wang, You-Sheng Zhang, & Cvo Yang in Music Can Shape Music Week held at the end of 2015 at Guling Street Avant-garde Theatre. With the physical presence of sounding objects, Lo re-thinks John Cage’s idea on the quality of sound being free and invisible in the (performative) space, and further mentions a possibility for re-negotiation between artists’ “physical presence” and objects, which is worthwhile for us to ponder on.
