Note: Ever since 2014, when Po-chih and Chien-yu began AIR at 98B in the Philippines and conjured up the idea of making limoncello, the lines among the identities of artist/bartender/performer/farmer have often been blurred. In Po-chih‘s book Blue Skin: Mama's Story, he has mentioned how the conversations and letters with his mother and Chien-yu have inspired him. In this Residency project on NML, we try to emphasize the significance of day-to-day routine ("base liquor") over the result ("cocktail") of “authorship” regarding artists, and come to present the distinctly conceived ways for residence, including those possibilities ever thought of yet never realized.
